Ms. Thorner is delighted to that she was a finalist in the Winners Concert of the International NYIOPS "anon" singing competition and the only opera singer to place with contemporary music.

Ms. Thorner premiered the role of Queen of Cans, a new opera inspired by her voice in 2020 which was also made into a film with Tête a Tête festival by Edward Lambert and had a recent collaborationg with Chroma Ensemble.

-Ms. Thorner is delighted to perform as the Soprano Soloist in Benedict Mason's premiere of "Hotel Paradiso" this September with TransArt in Italy, under the baton of Clement Power.


-Ms. Thorner is honored to have "Crazy Jay Blue" and "for any ruffian of the sky" (text by E.E. Cummings) dedicated and written for her by Juliana Hall.



-Emily Thorner is pleased to return to the Aldeburgh Festival in June 2022 after being the first vocalist in 20 years to be added to their new music course.
